2011 Atlanta Braves

The 136th season for the Braves franchise will be a season of change.  For the first time since 1990, and after 3,402 games, the Atlanta Braves will have a new skipper in former first base coach Fredi Gonzalez. Gonzalez. 

Trades in the offseason include Omar Infante and Mike Dunn to the Marlins for Dan Uggla.  The team also minor league pitcher Kyle Cofield to Chicago for relief pitcher Scott Linebrink.  The team has also signed free agents George Sherrill and Eric Hinske.
Look for your Atlanta Braves to make their way back into the playoffs in 2011.
